When we work together towards a shared vision for our futures better health outcomes, both nature and people flourish. On 2-3nd July at Blue Point Brussels, GoGreen Next will join 10 other projects to promote Nature-Based Solutions, climate change and health impacts. Together with our sister projects, SPRINGS, PLANET4Health, MOSAIC and TULIP. Collectively, these projects have 65 partners, work across 28 countries and tackle diverse challenges ranging from microbial resistance to urban health. The combined funding approximates 30.2 million euro and the projects collaborate on several research strands and events, of which this event is the first.
At the event the Planetary health Cluster will be joined by another Maynooth University led project, GoGreenRoutes (869764) who together with euPOLIS (869448), IN-HABIT (869227) VARCITIES (869505) will highlight their efforts to explore the possibilities when nature meets health. The event will showcase best practice, key impacts and offer participants the opportunity to hear the voice of the pioneers of innovations to inspire a new generation of initiatives on nature and health. The event is aimed at practitioners, researchers, innovators in the field of nature and health along with those looking to learn how a planetary health approach can advance goals outlined in the Green New Deal and objectives of the EU Nature Restoration Law.
