Lorraine D’Arcy is currently Sustainability Action Research & Innovation Lead at Technological University Dublin. She has a passion for creating and enhancing opportunities to break down barriers to working together towards a more sustainable and healthier world. In her current role, Lorraine is Secondment to the Office of the Vice President for Sustainability at TU Dublin to assist the VP in delivering the University’s Specific Sustainability Objectives with a particular focus on Transport & Health. Lorraine has her PhD in behavior science and is an experienced transportation planner. Her main research focuses on sustainable transportation, which is currently used in Ireland to combat climate change. She will continue to spread her research focus to the environment as a determinant of health.

Maksym is currently a Professor for Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas as well as Vice-Rector for International Affairs and Strategic Development at King Danylo University. Maksym has worked in Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil for over 15 years. Maksym’s research interests include renewable energy engineering and energy efficiency. The goal of this research is to determine what ways to use energy in a way that is affordable, energy-efficient, and environmentally friendly.  He achieved a PhD in Engineering from vano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas. 

Marina Antoniadou is a PhD student in Maynooth University and for H2020 project GoGreenRoutes. Her PhD research explores the impacts of climate change on human health through its effects on air quality. This research is crucial for developing strategies to mitigate the impacts of climate change on air quality and public health. Marina completed her undergraduate degree at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece, where she graduated with a BSc in Geology. She continued her studies at the same university, earning an MSc in Meteorology, Climatology, and Atmospheric Environment. Her Master’s thesis focused on the seasonality of extreme precipitation and temperature events over the Mediterranean region, utilising circular statistics.

Marco Alfano is currently a Senior Researcher at the Innovation Value Institute (IVI) of Maynooth University and Leader of the Digital Health Research Cluster. Marco has professional experience of over thirty years in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in different working environments such as academia, industry and government. Marco is currently working on person-activated health and well-being by facilitating patient empowerment and seamless communication within the healthcare system. Marco’s research interests include responsible AI, digital health transformation, patient empowerment among many others. He has authored more than fifty peer-reviewed articles for journals, books and conferences.

Mark Mansoldo is currently an Environmental Scientist for EcoStack Innovations in Malta and has held this position for nearly two years. Mark is interested in the co-creation of urban Nature-based Solutions and their multifunctionality in providing ecosystem services for climate change adaptation strategies. Mark has a Bachelor’s degree in Ecology from the University of East Anglia, Norway.

Martha Halbert is the Social Inclusion Specialist at Cork City Council. She is a committed sustainable development practitioner with specific interest in community engagement and development, policy influencing and capacity development. Her focus in the last 10 years has centred around developing networks of practitioners and stakeholders and driving action and advocacy. Martha is always looking to further her experience in community development and management. Martha has a degree in Law and Irish from University College Cork and has much experience in volunteering and research.
